Initially under the general direction of the First Selectman and transitioning to the Municipal Finance Director, the senior accountant/analyst provides services within the finance office. The Town and the Board of Education are evolving to a centralized business office to execute relevant services. You will need to demonstrate an adaptability to change. The senior accountant must possess strong skills in financial planning and monitoring, financial operations (accounting principles, budgeting, financial reporting, external audits, payroll and procurement) and risk management. The position performs complex, professional accounting work including grant, debt and improvement programs, and general ledger maintenance. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Public Administration or closely related field. Ideal candidate will have a strong financial background.

Senior Van Driver
The Town of Lebanon is accepting applications for a part-time Senior Van Driver for their multi-passenger, handicapped accessible van. A Class 2 Connecticut Drivers’ License with a “P” Restriction/Endorsement is required. Experience driving a 14 passenger van or comparable size vehicle is a plus.
