The Assessor's Office is responsible for the discovery, listing, and equitable valuation of all real and personal property within the Town in accordance with Connecticut General Statutes. The office compiles the Grand List annually as of the October 1st assessment date. The Grand List is used in the budget process to determine the tax rate each year.

As of February 2, 2017, the Northeastern CT Council of Governments (NECCOG) Animal Services will be responsible for animal control services for the Town of Lebanon. Follow this link for more information.
