Memorial Day Parade 2021

The 2021 Memorial Day Parade will be held on the Lebanon Green beginning at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 29, 2021. The theme for the parade is “Always Remember, Never Forget (Centennial of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier).

Following the parade, join us at the Town Hall veteran's monument for a special program to honor the servicemen and women who have given their lives in the line of duty for our country. The Citizen of the Year will also be revealed at this ceremony.

There will be no rain date or public in-door ceremony in the event of inclement weather due to the need to comply with COVID-safety directives. Please phone the Office of the First Selectman at 860-642-6100 with any questions pertaining to parade procedures. 

 

Route 87 along the Green will be closed to thru traffic from 9:30 a.m. to 12 noon.
