Construction to Begin on Jonathan Trumbull Library Expansion and Renovation

Construction of the Jonathan Trumbull Library renovation and expansion project is ready to get underway. The Library is currently operating out of it's temporary home in the Community Center. Today, fencing was installed around the construction area for the safety of residents and workers. Throughway access from West Town Street to Route 87 will not be available during construction.
The walking path on the Green remains open for use. However, walkers may need to cut across the mowed portion of the Green at the flagpole to complete the full loop while the parking lot is partially closed.
Parking can also be found at Town Hall. Please use caution at the crosswalk if crossing Route 207.
