Asbestos Abatement at Town Hall
The Town Hall is TEMPORARILY MOVING to the downstairs of the
Lebanon Community Center located at 872 Trumbull Highway.
Important Dates:
TOWN HALL will be CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC on MONDAY APRIL 22nd and TUESDAY APRIL 23rd.
Town Departments will REOPEN to the public on THURSDAY APRIL 25th at the Lebanon Community Center Downstairs, at 872 Trumbull Highway.
Town Departments will be temporarily relocated to the Lebanon Community Center until Mid-June.
The Assessor's Office is responsible for the discovery, listing, and equitable valuation of all real estate, personal property and motor vehicles within the Town in accordance with Connecticut General Statutes. The office compiles the Grand List annually as of the October 1st assessment date. All property is assessed at 70% of its fair market value. The Grand List is used in the budget process to determine the tax rate each year.
Additionally, the Assessor administers state and local programs of tax relief including abatements, exemptions and PA490. Questions concerning assessed value, adjustments, exemptions, tax relief and motor vehicle tax credits should be directed to the Assessor’s Office.
