Board of Assessment Appeals
The Board of Assessment Appeals is an elected body empowered by State Statute to hear and decide appeals of property assessments. The Board meets during the month of March to hear appeals for all categories of assessed property including real estate, personal property and supplemental motor vehicles. The appeal application will be made available after January 25, 2024. The application must be received between February 1, 2024, and February 20, 2024. Postmarks are not accepted and no extensions are granted.

The Board meets in September to only hear appeals of motor vehicles billed the preceding July.
