Summer Dancefest
The Summer Dancefest Committee is a direct result of the huge success of the town's tercentenary celebration in 2000. With a desire to make this an annual event, a committee was established to continue with an annual July celebration. This event is sponsored by local businesses and supported by the townspeople of Lebanon. Under a huge tent and picnic like atmosphere on the historic Lebanon Green, it is celebrated with music by local musicians, children's activities, and culminates with a huge fireworks display.
Summer Dancefest returns July 12, 2025!
Lebanon Country Fair
Since 1960, The Lebanon Lions Club has operated the Lebanon Country Fair. Started on the Lebanon Green, the fair moved to its current location at the Lebanon Lions Fair Grounds in 1970. The fair takes place the weekend of the second Sunday in August of every year.
The fair features commercial vendors as well as fund raising booths for local organizations. Many local groups use the fair as their main fundraising activity throughout the year. Tractor pulls, monster trucks, rides, fair food, displays, crafts, and the Miss Lebanon pageant are bound to impress and amuse. Parking is available at the fairgrounds with additional parking and shuttle service to the fair from Lyman Memorial High School.

Antiques Show on the Green
Sponsored by the historical society, the antiques fair takes place annually on the last Saturday in September. Over 100 vendors converge on the Green to display their wares. From antique glass and china to larger furniture, tools, textiles and knick knacks, there's something for every antiques aficionado. In addition, burgers, grinders, sodas, and the ever popular clam (and sometimes corn!) chowder are for sale.
Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony
The holiday season begins with the annual Tree Lighting on the Lebanon Town Green!
Enjoy an evening filled with festive carols, bell ringers, a cozy bonfire behind the Library, open houses in historic buildings around the Green, a visit from Santa courtesy of the Lebanon Volunteer Fire Department, and a stroll along the candlelit path surrounding the Green. This celebration will take place directly after the Holiday Light Parade — the perfect way to kick off the holiday season in Lebanon! This event takes place annually on the last Saturday in November.
