Town Clerk

The Town Clerk’s Office is responsible for the safekeeping of all land records, town ordinances, vital records, maps, liquor permits, veteran discharge filings, town boards / commissions meeting agendas and minutes. The Office administers elections, issues marriage, canine, and sport licenses, registers trade names, notaries, and is the official keeper of the Town Seal.
Per the Town Charter (effective December 1, 2019), the position of Town Clerk shall become an appointed position at the end of the current elected term or when the position becomes vacant.
