Board of Selectmen accepting applications for Charter Review Commission

At their May 3, 2022 Regular Meeting, the Board of Selectmen voted to form a Charter Review Commission. The Commission will be charged with making recommendations on modifications to the Town Charter that went into effect December 1, 2019. The goal is to complete the Charter Review process in time for revisions to be considered on the November 2023 ballot. The commission will likely require its members to be present for at least two meetings per month. To apply, please fill out the attached Volunteer Interest Form and return it to FirstSelectman@LebanonCT.Gov as soon as possible. Appointments to a Charter Review Commission must be made within 30 days of the Selectmen’s decision to form the commission, according to state law.
