Board of Selectmen Special Election Delayed to August 18

Due to the ongoing COVID19 pandemic, the special election to fill two newly created positions on the Board of Selectmen will now take place on Tuesday, August 18, 2020. The election was originally scheduled to take place on May 19, 2020.
The two new positions on the Board of Selectmen were created by the Town Charter which went into effect on December 1, 2019. The election has been delayed in accordance with Gov. Ned Lamont's Executive Order 7M which permits Charter-related deadlines be extended up to 90 days.
