Construction Advisory: Speed Limit Sign Replacement
The Connecticut Department of Transportation will be replacing speed limit signs on local roads throughout the area.
Work Schedule
Wednesday, July 1, 2026 – Saturday, July 31, 2027
During this project, motorists should expect:
- Shoulder closures
- Alternating one-way traffic on local roads
- Traffic control signs, uniformed flaggers, and/or municipal police officers directing traffic safely through work zones
Please note that the construction schedule is subject to change due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Motorists are encouraged to use caution, reduce their speed, and remain alert when traveling through active work zones. Your patience and cooperation help keep both workers and the traveling public safe.
