Legal Notice: Annual Town Meeting & Budget Referendum

The Annual Town Meeting will be held on Monday, May 4th, 2026 at 7:30PM in the Lyman Memorial High School Auditorium (917 Exeter Road). Please see the attached legal notice and supporting documents.

Per the Town Charter (Section 9.6 Budget Referendum), the meeting will adjourn to referendum to be held on Thursday May 14, 2026, at the Fire Safety Complex at 23 Goshen Hill Rd from 6:00 AM – 8:00 PM. Absentee ballots will be available in the Town Clerk’s Office on Tuesday, May 5, 2026.

For those unable to attend in person, the Annual Town Meeting will be available to watch live on Zoom. Please note that Zoom attendees will NOT be able to ask questions or interact during the hearing. The hearing will also be recorded and later shared on the Town’s YouTube channel for on-demand viewing.
