LEGAL NOTICE

TOWN OF LEBANON- WATER POLLUTION CONTROL AUTHORITY

Pursuant to § 12-145 notice is hereby given to all property owners required to be connected to the sewers in the Town of LEBANON that the sewer use payment is due and payable on April 1st 2024.  LEBANON Sewer Use bills may be paid in two equal installments: April 1 2024 and October 1 2024.  Property owners will not receive a second sewer use bill for the installment due on October 1st, 2024.

Payments can be made in person or by mail at the Tax Collector’s office in Town Hall, 579 Exeter Road, Lebanon, CT 06249. In person payments during Town Hall hours. Payments must be received or postmarked by May 2nd, 2024, to avoid interest.

All taxes remaining unpaid after May 2nd, 2024, will be charged interest from April 1st, 2024, at the rate of 1.5% for each month elapsing from the due date of the delinquent tax to the date of payment, with a minimum interest charge of $2.00, § 12-146.

Failure to receive a bill does not invalidate the tax or respective penalties should the tax become delinquent, § 12-130.
